Today, at a meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the plan to transform the state-owned enterprise "National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "Energoatom" into a joint-stock company, 100 per cent of the shares of which will be owned by the state.
As a reminder, on March 17, 2023, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law "On Peculiarities of Establishment of Joint-Stock Company NNEGC "Energoatom".
This is yet another step in fulfilling Ukraine's international obligations to bring the management of state-owned enterprises in line with the best global standards of corporate governance.
