On Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 09:40 a.m., one of the NPP units was connected to the power grid of Ukraine before the established deadline after outage. Currently its capacity is ascending.
The return of the power unit after outage strengthened the national power grid.
“The Company's specialists are carrying out the necessary spring and summer repair activities in order to enter the upcoming heating season at maximum capacity of all nuclear power units,” Petro Kotin, head of Energoatom, said.
