All nuclear power units located in the Ukraine-controlled territory are in full operation

On January 24, 2023, 8 units of Ukrainian NPPs located in the territory controlled by the state are operating at maximum rated power and provide about 55% of the total electricity consumption in the country. The largest volumes of electricity are generated by the South Ukraine NPP.

At the same time, one of Energoatom power units is still under scheduled outage, which is carried out once every four years to ensure nuclear and radiation safety.

Temporarily occupied by the russians Zaporizhzhya NPP continues to constantly consume electricity from the Ukrainian power system for its in-house needs. All six ZNPP power units are shut down as the invaders are blocking their start-up.
