Despite the undermining of Kakhovka HPP dam by the russian occupationists, the situation remains stable and under control.
As of 08:00 am on October 23, a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond was recorded. Currently, it is 15.69 m.
The water level in the "hot" channel of the Zaporizhzhya TPP, from where the ZNPP pond is replenished if necessary, is 16.70 m. While in the ZTPP "cold" channel, the water level reaches 10.75 m.
Note that the water level in both channels has not dropped significantly for the last time, and its indicators no longer depend on the Kakhovka reservoir given the ruscists destroyed it.
It is worth reminding that ZNPP power units have not been operating since September 2022, and therefore active water evaporation from the cooling pond has not occurred since then.
