On 21 March 2023, President of SE NNEGC “Energoatom” Petro Kotin held a productive meeting with UKEF’s management in London. During the meeting, the parties discussed the UKEF’s support to the energy security of Ukraine.
Petro Kotin updated UKEF’s management on the operation of Ukrainian nuclear power plants amidst the russian military aggression, on Energoatom's complete refusal from russian nuclear fuel, and the agreements reached with international partners, regarding its fabrication and supply. He also emphasized the necessity to de-occupy Zaporizhzhia NPP seized by russian armed forces, and return it under the full control of the legitimate operator, i.e., Energoatom, for the safety of the whole world.
The representatives of UKEF, for their part, confirmed the UK government’s support of Ukraine.
