During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the nuclear industry, the situation at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP, as well as the consequences of shelling of the energy infrastructure.
Furthermore, Energoatom CEO and Ambassador highlighted the importance of accelerating the corporatization of the Company, the adoption of the relevant Law of Ukraine «On JSC «National Nuclear Energy Generating Company «Energoatom» and its rapid implementation.
Petro Kotin expressed his gratitude to the U.S. Government for the constant and comprehensive support of Ukraine and Energoatom, as well as assistance at the political level in matters of imposing sanctions against the aggressor country.
