#STANDWITHUKRAINE

On December 19, 2022, an online meeting was held between the President of SE "NNEGC "Energoatom" Petro Kotin and Urenco Chief Executive Officer Borys Schucht

They discussed the increasing supplies of enriched uranium to Westinghouse for manufacturing nuclear fuel for Ukrainian nuclear power plants in 2024-2025.

Furthermore, the heads of the companies agreed on long-term cooperation in the field of supplying enriched uranium to SE "NNEGC "Energoatom" from 2026.

Earlier, on August 1, 2019, Energoatom and Urenco concluded an agreement on the supply of such uranium. In April 2022, the next stage of negotiations between the companies took place amid Ukraine's complete rejection of russian nuclear fuel.
