Representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) keep working at the Khmelnytskyi NPP. Another rotation of the IAEA permanent monitoring mission took place on April 14, 2023.
The main purpose of these missions is to monitor the state of security in the conditions of military influences that Ukraine and Ukrainian nuclear facilities are currently experiencing.
The International Atomic Energy Agency has deployed permanent monitoring missions to all Ukrainian nuclear power plants in response to an official request of the Government of Ukraine, carried out in accordance with the mandate of the President of Ukraine.
