Energoatom continues to summarize the results of the all-Ukrainian creative project “Everything Will Be Ukraine!” which NNEGC conducted together with the primary trade union organization of the Company for the third time in a row.
Among 401 works received by the organizers from participants, 33 have come from the community of the village of Ivankiv, with which Energoatom cooperates as it is a territory adjacent to the location of the Centralized Spent Fuel Storage Facility (CSFSF) of Ukraine.
Executive Director for Human Resources of NNEGC Bohdan Shmyhelskyi arrived in Ivankiv, Kyiv region, to congratulate the project participants. He emphasized that, despite the difficult challenges caused by the russian war against Ukraine, Energoatom continues to fulfill not only its main mission, but also its social one.
“More than half of the light bulbs in Ukrainian homes are shining owing to Energoatom. However, our Company is not only turbines, units and power facilities. We constantly support the creative initiatives of the younger generation. I also urge you to study physics and mathematics well in order to join our team of nuclear specialists!” Bohdan Shmyhelskyi said.
Nine works by Ivankiv pupils received certificates of victory and winning places, and the rest of the competitors who joined the project were recognized with honorary distinctions for active participation. Gratitude awards were also given to the creative supervisors of the circles who had trained the winners.
In particular, the children's works were presented at the fine art exhibition of the project “Everything will be Ukraine!” arranged on the occasion of Energy Day in the Company office.
“We always strive to support communities, youth and talented Ukrainians, because we believe that our mission is also social responsibility. Each of our projects, whether energy or creative one, is aimed at developing and supporting the future of our country,” Head of Energoatom Petro Kotin emphasized.
