On February 16, 2023, during a working visit, the President of SE "NNEGC "Energoatom" Petro Kotin visited the Rivne and Khmelnytskyy nuclear power plants to take part in the preliminary meetings of the outcomes commission, which summed up the NPP's performance in 2022. In particular, the discussions were held related to the nuclear industry performance in the conditions of a full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine and the challenges associated with hostile shelling of our critical infrastructure.
The Chief Accountant of Energoatom Nataliya Vashetina, the Director for Finance and Budgeting Lyudmyla Smilianets, other heads of the Company's structural units, as well as the head of its primary trade union organization Oleksiy Lych also joined the meeting.
Petro Kotin emphasized, "We have passed a very challenging year given no one has ever worked earlier in conditions when the enemy deliberately resorts to nuclear terror by endangering the entire civilized world. However, Energoatom and its separated subdivisions continued to work effectively, thus bringing us closer to victory."
Furthermore, Energoatom CEO held meetings on production issues with the management team and operational staff of RNPP and KhNPP, as well as rewarded the nuclear power professionals. Thus, the employees' representatives got letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, awards of Energoatom "For significant contribution to the development of the nuclear industry of Ukraine" and honorary certificates.
Similar meetings of the outcomes commission will be held at the South Ukraine nuclear power plant and at the temporarily occupied ZNPP – the meeting on the results of its operation will be held in Kyiv, where the legitimate management of the power plant currently resides. And after that, in early March 2023, the Company's Head Office will hold a wrap-up meeting of the outcomes commission of SE "NNEGC "Energoatom" on last year's performance.
