Despite the undermining of Kakhovka HPP dam by the russian occupationists, the situation remains stable and under control.
As of 09:00 am on June 13, the water level in Kakhovka reservoir in Nikopol area is already below 9 m, while in Zaporizhzhya NPP cooling pond is 16.67 m, and that is enough to meet the needs of the power plant.
The water level in the TPP channel, from where the ZNPP pond is replenished if necessary, is at the level of 11.25 m. Note that the water level in the channel has not been falling for the last time, its indicators no longer depend on the fluctuations of Kakhovka reservoir.
The Konka river, which now runs along the ZNPP cooling pond, separated into its historical course, and was under the Kakhovka reservoir as an underwater current.
It is worth reminding that ZNPP power units have not been operating since September 2022, and therefore active water evaporation from the cooling pond has not occurred since then.
