#STANDWITHUKRAINE

IAEA experts have completed their work at South Ukraine, Rivne and Khmelnytskyi NPPs

From November 29 to December 9, teams of specialists from the International Atomic Energy Agency assessed the state of nuclear and radiation safety and protection of nuclear plants under russian military aggression. They also checked the system of physical protection, emergency preparedness and response, as well as logistics and communication.

SE «NNEGC «Energoatom» expresses its gratitude to the representatives of the IAEA for their efforts to ensure the safety of Ukrainian nuclear power plants in the face of russia's military aggression and its seizure of Europe's largest Zaporizhzhya plant. Currently, there are two IAEA representatives at the ZNPP.

As a reminder, earlier IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi confirmed that the Agency would strengthen its presence at all nuclear sites in Ukraine to protect the energy infrastructure.
