During his working trip to the South Ukraine NPP, head of Energoatom Petro Kotin met with head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Anton Tabunshchyk, Yuzhnoukrainsk Mayor Valerii Onufrienko, and secretary of Yuzhnoukrainsk Town Council Denys Kravchenko.
The parties discussed the security situation in the region, the issue of coordination of measures to provide support for the defenders of Ukraine, directions of current and future cooperation.
In addition, they discussed the issue of construction of strategically important facilities to strengthen energy independence of our country:
Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council thanked for the Energoatom's constant attention and support for the region and their assistance provided to the military. In particular, for the recently handed over pickup trucks that perform air defense tasks for the protection of the Mykolaiv region from shelling by ruscists.
Petro Kotin emphasized that the construction of new facilities of Energoatom would provide jobs to residents of the territorial community and would significantly affect the development of the region as a whole.
