Company's statement on the next wave of information attacks on Energoatom

Another wave of information attacks on JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has started in the media space. Inaccurate and manipulative information about Energoatom's activities, protection of its infrastructure facilities, and futile recriminations of corruption are being spread through paid-for false publications. An analysis of these publications shows that their main goal is the same as the enemy's: to disrupt the passage of the autumn-winter period and find new targets for massive attacks.

To increase their “effect,” such information attacks were triggered by the so-called case of Oleksandr Skopych, the former Director of Auditing and Compliance Policy, who was recently detained by the Security Service of Ukraine and notified of suspicion. It should be noted that the suspicion announced to O. Skopych is in no way related to his work at JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom.

However, given the public outcry and his violation of the Company's anti-corruption requirements, on September 30, 2024, by order of the CEO of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” Petro Kotin, this official was dismissed from his position.

JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has established and effectively operates a system to combat corruption and abuse of power, in particular, all tender documents are carefully reviewed.

All procurement is carried out strictly under the current legislation through the Prozorro system, which guarantees full transparency and openness of the processes. In the event of violations in procurement, the Company immediately appoints internal investigations, which result in appropriate personnel and disciplinary decisions.
