A delegation of the Canadian company CAMECO, a partner of Energoatom, visited Ukraine

During this trip:

  • A meeting was held with President of SE "NNEGC "Energoatom" Petro Kotin and President and Chief Executive Officer of САМЕСО Tim Gitzel.
  • A joint protocol on further cooperation between Energoatom and CAMECO was signed.
  • Petro Kotin and the Canadian guests visited Eastern Mining and Processing Plant (SkhidGZK), where they discussed the development of production facilities and got acquainted with the mining of uranium ore in Ukraine.
  • The management and representatives of Energoatom and САМЕСО visited Irpin and Bucha, which were the most affected by the occupation at the beginning of the full-fledged russian invasion.
