On June 29, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” organized a career orientation event for future applicants, which was attended by specialists of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”.
Together with the representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Institute of Nuclear and Thermal Energy, as well as the Department of Nuclear Energy, NNEGC experts talked with the intending students and their parents.
Energoatom is the main employer in the nuclear industry. The Company’s representatives spoke about the advantages of working at nuclear energy enterprises, in particular, at nuclear power plants and other branches of the Company.
For intending students, that event was a great opportunity to learn more about the conditions for admission to specialized degrees and the conditions created by the employer for Energoatom staff.
Interest in nuclear energy is growing noticeably among girls and boys, as evidenced by the attention paid to the location of the Department of Nuclear Energy and Energoatom. Moreover, the opportunity to take a virtual tour of Ukrainian nuclear power plants impressed parents, boys and girls.
Long-term cooperation of NNEGC with specialized higher education institutions has obvious benefits for our state, its economy as well as the future students.
