SE “NNEGC “Energoatom” will collect the damages caused by Russian's military aggression from the aggressor itself. Thus, in March 2023, the Company handed over a notice of dispute to representatives of the Russian Federation in connection with the expropriation of Energoatom's investments located in the Zaporizhia region, including the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
The written message refers to the colossal damages caused to Energoatom by the aggressor country, and their compensation is demanded. If it is impossible to resolve the dispute peacefully, Energoatom will submit the relevant dispute to international arbitration.
