Energoatom will be guided by the best cases of corporatization – Petro Kotin

Today, February 7, during a business meeting Acting CEO of Energoatom Petro Kotin and Naftogaz Group CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov discussed topical issues of implementing corporate governance reform in the energy sector. In particular, Oleksiy Chernyshov shared the experience and talked about challenges facing the company on the way to corporatization.

According to Petro Kotin, this meeting is an important step in cooperation between major players in the energy sector of Ukraine for joint work on improving management processes and implementing up-to-date standards of corporate governance.

"Successful governance reform of Energoatom is the key to stable and efficient operation of Ukraine's power system. That is why I am interested in its qualitative transformation, and the experience of completed corporatization cases is significant on this path," Petro Kotin says.

The meeting also discussed achieving maximum transparency in the company's operation in wartime, which is also a crucial element of corporate reform.

Petro Kotin thanked Oleksiy Chernyshov for a frank talk and sound advice.
