Energoatom continues to provide assistance to servicemen and residents of occupied and liberated cities. During almost four months of full-scale war with russia, NNEGC «Energoatom», in cooperation with charitable organizations, took in and sent more than 100 tons of humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian military, as well as to the residents of temporarily captured Enerhodar and liberated Slavutych and Ivankivska amalgamated community.
Oleh Boyaryntsev, Energoatom Executive Director for Human Resources, said this during a meeting of the Company's management team with Directors General of NPPs and mayors of satellite cities.
He stressed that UAH 127 million had already been raised for the assistance: “These are only contributions made by the Company's employees. Another UAH 36 million was earmarked by the Energoatom trade union. We purchased and delivered food, medicine, toiletries, vehicles, bulletproof vests, helmets, etc."
Oleksiy Lych, Head of the NNEGC «Energoatom» trade union, noted that expenditures had been promptly re-structured to provide more effective support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and internally displaced persons. He also reported that 400 people evacuated from the temporarily occupied cities, including 250 residents of Enerhodar, are currently being accommodated in five Energoatom health resorts.
